Bangladesh Premier League is the best thing that happened to Bangladesh cricket. BPL brings an extra thrill and excitement among the youth of Bangladesh, who have started to take sports more seriously as a career than ever before. It is one of the most significant cricket leagues in the world.

It was started in 2012 and made a tremendous impact on Bangladesh cricket. Those Bangladeshi cricketers who performed in the BPL became key players in international teams. Dhaka Gladiators won the first BPL in 2012.

The BPL 2023 edition will be held in January 2023. The first match will be against Chattogram Challengers and Sylhet Strikers. This year will be the 9th edition of BPL.
